She has more than 15 years experience in HUB operations, medical billing, payer relations, field reimbursement support, and market access strategy in multiple therapeutic areas. Her expertise lies in the wound care/podiatry space. Her focus is on supporting cellular and tissue based product (CTP) manufacturers and their customers throughout the reimbursement process. She is passionate about taking complex reimbursement and market access challenges and formulating step-by-step processes tailored to the clients’ needs in order to successfully bring products to market and to ensure a competitive advantage. In addition to reimbursement support, Mary is an expert in medical billing, revenue cycle management, and operations. Her knowledge of coding and billing practices and commitment to accuracy and efficiency sets her billing customers up for success.
Emily Williams serves as the Vice President of Billing and Reimbursement. Prior to joining Advantage, she worked in nursing home and wound care reimbursement. Emily is originally from Pensacola, Florida and graduated from Florida State University. Emily brings expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding. She is highly skilled in analyzing and validating patient information, diagnoses, and billing data. Her specialty lies in operational organization and streamlining processes for maximum efficiency. She demonstrates leadership skills that enable the processing of high volumes of patient information to achieve revenue generation goals.
